Barry Rudolph has over twenty years of private equity investment and operating experience with a focus in the Business and Consumer Services and Financial Services sectors. For the past decade, Mr. Rudolph has served as Managing Director for Presidio Investors, where he has focused on lower-middle market private equity investing. While at Presidio Investors, Mr. Rudolph has also served as interim-CEO and Executive Chairman of Hattrick Sports Group, Presidio Investors’ largest and most successful investment to date.
Prior to Presidio, Mr. Rudolph was General Manager (Software) of the Low Power Wireless Group at Texas Instruments. In 2002, Mr. Rudolph co-founded Figure 8 Wireless, an embedded wireless networking company, and during his tenure served in a variety of roles for the Company, including CEO and CFO. He also led the merger of Figure 8 with one of its largest customers, Chipcon AS. After the merger, he served as CFO of Chipcon and prepared the Company for its IPO, prior to its US$200 million acquisition by Texas Instruments in late 2005.
Mr. Rudolph also worked as an Associate at Chase Capital Partners, where he executed private equity investments in companies in the healthcare and wireless industries, among others. Prior to Chase Capital Partners, Mr. Rudolph worked in the Investment Banking Group of Merrill Lynch & Co.
Mr. Rudolph received an MBA from Harvard University Graduate School of Business Administration. He earned his undergraduate degree from Macalester College in St. Paul, MN, where he earned the Gardner-Pilon Award as the top graduating student in Economics.
